It’s been one of those weeks where I have no problem starting a writing project, but have all kinds of problems finishing one. Hopefully I can knock something out tonight/tomorrow and reduce the drafts folder by one.
In the meantime, I’ve been meaning to share this for ages. It’s another fantastic tool that makes reading things on the Internets easier. It’s called Instapaper. Create an account (for free), install a bookmarklet into your browser, and each time you find a large article you want to read, click on it to save it to your Instapaper account. When you have the time, you can pull up the articles, converted to text-only, and read them from whatever computer is most convenient. And if you’re an iPhone user, you can install the Instapaper app and read articles anywhere. I’ve been reading a lot of stuff while sitting in waiting rooms, monitoring the girls playing, etc. It’s really quite brilliant and keeps from from having ten browser tabs open with articles I want to read but never will.
In fact, I have a number of articles saved there that I need to share here. So perhaps you’ll get a link dump post tomorrow as well.
