A whole mess of things I’ve bookmarked over the past couple weeks but been too lazy to share.

The New Yorker does a nice job of taking those Rosetta Stone ads that claim to assist the farmboy from Iowa who needs to converse with the Italian supermodel to the next, logical level.

Mi Chiamo Stan

This hurts a little, since, as a child of the 70s, I figured this was how baseball uniforms were supposed to look and enjoyed many of them in their time. Another vote for the 70s as the worst decade ever.

This isn’t picking up steam as quickly as I had hoped, but it’s a way of tracking all the ridiculous predictions people make and seeing if they come to pass over time.

Wrong Tomorrow

I thought I had linked to this one already, but apparently not. 50 reasons why Return Of The Jedi sucked. Probably the first movie I saw as a kid and was thoroughly disappointed, setting me up to be indifferent towards movies for the rest of my life.

Jedi Sucked

I’ve yet to really look through this list, but apparently if you need something to do and have internet access, this is the place to start.
